Hawaian Pizza & Pizza dough

Ingredients:

For the pizza dough

  • 2 cups of white flour
  • 3/4 cups of warm water
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of yeast
  • 3 spoons approx. of olive oil
  • 2 spoons apporx. of cous-couse fine

For the pizza

  • 1/2 can of slice pineapple
  • Tomato souce
  • 150 g Mozzarella cheese
  • 10-20 mushrooms
  • oregan

Preparation Instructions:

1) Mix the warm water and the yeast in a glass. Mix all the ingredientes in a bowl, the water with the yeast at the end.

2) Knead for 10-15 min. and make a ball. Cover the bowl where is the dough ball and wait for 1 hour.

3) With a rolling pin, stretch the dough as thin you can. If you do it on a baking paper, then will be easy to move the dough to the pan.

4) Now you have the pizza dough on the pan, preheat the oven at the max. temperature and start preparing the ingredients,

5) Spread the tomato souce, add the mushrooms, the pineapple and the cheese.

7) Once the pizza is cooked, add the herbs you like, in my case oregano and enjoy 🙂

Octopus with vegetables

Octopus with vegetables

Ingredients

1 octopus
1 small onion
2 garlic cloves
1 Green pepper
1 Red pepper
30-40 ml of Ron
4 tomatoes
Olive Oil, Paprika, Salt.

 

Preparation Instructions

1)  Boil the octopus.

2) Cut all the ingredients except the octopus, small. Fry them with salt in the pan with olive oil. Meanwhile, slice the octopus legs.

3) Saute the octopus slices with paprika in a pan with a tablespoon of olive oil for a 2-3 minutes. Add the Ron and let the liquour evaporates.

4) Mix the octopus with the vegetables.

Ready for eat. Enjoy it with bread!

Anchovies and artichokes pizza

Ingredients:

  • 10-20 canned artichokes hearts in olive oil
  • Anchovies
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Tomate paste (3-4 tablespoons)
  • Pizza dough (I always do it myself. Is easy, healthier and the taste is better than the frozen dough.)
  • Oregano
  • Salt

Preparation Instructions

1) Extend the pizza dough on at pan. Preheat the oven at the maximum temperatura your oven can.

2) With a spoon, extend a thin layer of tomato paste, add the cheese, the artichokes and the anchovies. Add salt, but not the oregano. Remember all the herbs must go once the pizza is out of the oven and ready for eat.

3) Enter the pizza in oven on the bottom with maximum temperature. Yes, pizza should be done on the bottom and should be ready in 15 minutes maximum approx.

4) Now that your pizza is out is the moment of add the oregano you´d like and enjoy!

Chicken Croquettes

Hi, there! This is my first post on the blog! 🙂 Let´s start with a recipe wich can be done with many kinds of vegetables, chicken, beaf, ham, cheese…

Croquettes are typial from Spain, at home usually done the day after a chicken soup, restaurants or even in some cities and towns when you go to a bar, some food comes as free with the drink you ordered and many times this food is croquettes.

Ingredients

  • Olive oil (40-50 ml)
  • Onion (1/2)
  • Milk (375 ml)*
  • Homemade chicken soup (375 ml) (if you don´t have it you can use 750 ml of milk*)
  • Chicken from the soup, or roasted (without bones) and ham
  • White flour (75 gr)
  • Salt
  • Nutmeg powder (optional)
  • 1 or 2 eggs
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Flour

Preparation Instructions

1) Cut the half onion very small and separet the chicken from the bones.

2) The bechamel: In a hot pot with olive oil, fry the onion slowly, with salt. Once it will turn into gold colour, add 75 gr of flour and stir quickly. When the onion will be yellow a few seconds later, add the milk (hot) and the chicken soup (hot) if we are going to use it.

Always on low heat, continue stirring with a wooden spoon (at the beginning slowly and the strongly) and you will see flour lumps. Don´t worry, minutes later they will desappear. Add salt, nutmeg, the chicken and ham. Stire 3 or 4 minutes and put the bechamel on a tupperware. Keep it all night in the fridge, then it will be more easy to make the croquettes.

Now, mix 2 eggs on a bowl. Take two dishes, one for the flour and the other for the breadcrumps.

Use a spoon or a pastry bag to make the shape, a “ball” of bechamel or the typical shape.

Dip in flour, then in egg and then in breadcrumps. The order matters.

4) Now, you can fry them in a pan with olive oil.
